ECC Information Management and Advisory Services (ECC Info) is a Hong Kong-based consultancy advising clients on investments and providing professional training in the financial industry. ECC Info was founded by Dr. Hongsong Chou, a financial practitioner and educator for more than 20 years and held senior positions in financial institutions in New York, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Shen Zhen, China. Dr. Chou’s expertise areas are algorithmic trading and execution strategies, quantitative investment strategies, trading analytics and market microstructure research. Dr. Chou and his team won The Asian Banker’s ” Algorithmic Trading System of the Year” award in 2011 when he was the head of algorithmic trading at Nomura Securities.

As an industry expert in financial market microstructure, Dr. Chou has been holding teaching positions at the University of Chicago, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and the Shanghai Advanced Institute for Finance (SAIF). He is currently a Professor of Science Practice in Financial Mathematics at HKUST, a visiting Professor at SAIF, and holds a visiting Lecturer position at the University of Chicago (fall quarters). Dr. Chou has authored (or co-authored) numerous peer-reviewed academic and industrial articles in various journals and trade magazines and has been an invited speaker at many industry-wide events across the globe.

Dr. Chou is the creator of and chief instructor for “Dr. Chou’s Professional Boot Camp” （“周博士訓練營”）, a multi-series employment-readiness training programs offered by ECC Info. With our industry partners, this training program is specifically designed for young professionals and university graduates to be practically and professionally ready for current or new employment opportunities in the financial industry.
